Day-6, Quality Day

Today was
church day! With our whole group we went to the service of the church in
Lunteren, which revolved around our main theme: migration. Mart read the bible
storie about Abraham, and the paintings we
made earlier were shown and presented by Cilia.

After the service there was a
coffee break before the participants left to visit the farm where Ilse lives. We
went there to do a workshop called Euro-rail "àla carte", which showed us our own prejudices
and made us discuss about them. We also got a tour around the farm by Ilses
parents. A lot of knowledge was shared and a lot of cats were petted.

We
continued our way with a visit to Giethoorn, also known as the Venice of The Netherlands.
At the small and not that crowded village the participants got some free time
to walk around or rent a boat, to see the famous sights.

When the participants got back, the day only got more and more intercultural. After a delicious meal of stamppot andijvie and other Dutch dishes, a party followed to introduce the non-Dutch participants to more Dutch foods, drinks and music.
It is safe to say that the whole group looked back on a good, fun day with lots of delicious food, interesting workshops and fun activities. Altogether a real Quality Day!
